Tuft A Rug Workshop with Back Alley Rugs!
Learn to make your own hand tufted rug with Lauren! She will show you how to use a hand held tufting machine to make your own 18x18 rug. You get to choose your own design!
Please submit your design to GatewayPresents@gmail.com within 72 hours of purchasing your tickets. If a design isn’t submitted, or you’re unsure what to select, we are happy to provide a design for you. We recommend keeping designs simple as more detailed images are harder to recreate. Please note, the adhesive that holds the rug together takes 8-12 hours to dry, so your rug will be available to pick up at The Native any day after 5pm. If you are unable to pick the rug up, let us know and we can discuss a shipping option if needed.

About the Host
Lauren is a tufting artist from Chicago that creates unique and playful rugs as well as other home decor. She started her own company, Back Alley Rugs, in 2023 and has enjoyed sharing her creations through making custom orders, popping up at markets, and providing hands-on experiences through group workshops.

Refund Policy
Full refunds are available up to 48 hours before the event, a 50% refund will be given if a cancellation occurs within 24 hours, and no refund will be issued for day-of cancellations. If you need to cancel or have questions regarding a refund, please feel free to email us.
About the Venue
The Native is strictly 21+ and is Cash Only. They do have an ATM on site if needed, and they have a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
